Parathyroidectomy in Hemodialysis Patients

Treatment of secondary hyperparathyroidism is a major problem in hemodialysis patients. Medical treatment is commonly inadequate in these patients. Parathyroid surgery should be considered in appropriate patients. In this review, we evaluate the techniques, features, results and complications of parathyroid surgery procedures.
