Although nocardia infections are well known in transplanted patients all over the world, it seems rarely in Turkey. Due to increasing number of transplanted patients in abroad in recent years, it seems possible te encounter this infection. In this article nocardia abscess in the lower extremity has been presented and tried to take nocardiosis into consideration especially in patients transplanted in foreign countries.
