Extrapulmonary tuberculosis is rarely seen in childhood. We present all- year-old girl diagnosed (by clinical and laboratory criteria) as suffering from abdominal and renal tuberculosis after being evaluated for fever, generalized edema, macroscopic hematuria, proteinuria and peritonitis demonstrating septa. The patient responded well to antituberculosis therapy. The life saving importance of early treatment in extra pulmonary tuberculosis is emphasized.
