Acute tubular necrosis is one of the most significant causes of mortality in nephrological practice. In this paper, we present a case of acute tubular necrosis associated with involvement of brain stalk, caused by potasium clorate in a 21-year-old male patient eating a box of match-sticks as an attempt of suicide.
